Reasonably comfortable room on a quiet side street. Helpful staff. I was also able to leave my bags after check out and collect them later in the day. It's the usual for London accommodation: rooms are relatively small, accessed via stairs, and there is no A/C. I think this is fine and to be expected in the area. This hotel had opened the window to cool down the room, and there was a fan, which was good.

The hotel's location is excellent, as it is close to both the metro line and a bus stop, making transportation very convenient. The room, while understandably small, had all the amenities we needed, which was satisfactory. Despite being in a basement room, we were content with it, although we did notice a limited airflow.

The hotel / facilities were very basic , but: 1. The location of the hotel was fantastic - smack in trendy Notting Hill and close to restaurants , shops, bars , pubs , tube station, and parks ( but on a quiet street) ; 2. The room was spotlessly clean , and while very basic was quiet, spacious, and well - ventilated ; 3. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and I had a very discounted price for my room ( last room to fill up ?) So, thank you , Notting Hill Gate hotel, for my short but enjoyable stay at your hotel !

Very basic but fantastic price. You get what you pay for. Comfortable, clean, simple and most importantly for staying in London in the summer there was a fan in the room.

The location of the hotel is great, right at the Hyde park and Kensington palace. Underground and bus stops are in 2 min away. Nice caffees nearby for good breakfast. Rooms are nice, however asked to change the one and they did without hesitation, the staff was very friendly and it is indeed good value for the price.

Location is absolutely a STAR. Great location. Very polite and helpful personnel. Clean rooms with adequate facilities, coffee and tea in the room. Hairdryer in the room as well. The gentleman in the reception very kind and allowed us to leave our suitcases in the hotel after checkout until the time we had to leave London in the afternoon.

Fantastic hilarious man at the front desk at checkin! Made us feel very welcome and also we could check in earlier than 2pm, very apreciated ! We got better condition by climbing 70 steps to our room haha Will def reccomend this hotel and come back to next time we visit London!

Great location close to Hyde park and tub. No elevator 2 floor with suitcase was not easy . The room was a bit small for 5 people. We didn't have enough room for suitcases. The Heat was on . very hot at night, had to open a window. The location was excellent therefore all didn't count

Good value for money. Room service was good. Staff was professional and friendly. The Room had tea, coffee, sugar and milk pouches with an electric kettle and tea cups. It also had hair dryer. Our room also had a balcony. Accessable to public transport, variety of restaurants and tourists attractions.

they not service breakfast anymore... but it doesn't matter. u can have ur food in your room. tesco and sainsbury is close to hotel. also many restorant are nearby. and really close to nottinghill gate tube station and bus stop. and u can go to portobello market by walk. very good point for traveler!! and reception was always opened.
